Dhabas are typical Indian restaurants which you can find alongside highways in India. They generally serve local cuisine, and traditionally created for tired truck drivers or for the people who are doing long journey. The word has come to represent sub-continental cuisine so much that’s why many Indian restaurants in Europe, Asia and America have adopted it as a part of the name.
